By installing or using AFKmate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

AFKmate is a VS Code extension that provides automated code analysis using artificial intelligence. The service includes:

  • Automatic idle detection and code analysis
  • Bug, security, and style issue detection
  • Auto-fix suggestions
  • Optional local analysis via Ollama

3. User Accounts

Free users can access basic features with usage limits. Premium features require a paid subscription. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities under your account
  • Providing accurate billing information

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the service
  • Share premium access with unauthorized users
  • Overwhelm our systems with automated requests
  • Use the service to analyze malicious code

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your code. We do not claim ownership of any code you analyze. The AFKmate software, branding, and documentation are our intellectual property.

6. Payment and Refunds

  • Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

AFKmate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • All bugs in your code will be detected
  • Suggested fixes will always be correct

Always review suggested changes before applying them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFKmate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
